A Message from Amy

I’m a people-first professional who believes growth is possible–for individuals, teams, and organizations–when we lead with curiosity, compassion, and clarity.

While I bring deep expertise in all areas of human resources, training, and leadership coaching, what truly defines my work is how I show up for my clients. I’m warm, intuitive, and deeply empathetic. I listen to understand–not to respond. I am intuitive and pick up on cues that most people miss. And when needed, I offer tough love that’s always grounded in respect and a genuine desire to help you grow.

Over the years, I’ve built HR departments from the ground up, navigated complex organizational challenges, and worked across industries like banking, government, manufacturing, non-profits, higher education, and gaming. What those experiences taught me is that no matter the setting, people want to feel seen, supported, and successful. That’s where I do my best work–helping leaders and teams find alignment, build trust, and create workplaces where people can thrive.

My journey hasn’t followed a traditional path, but it’s shaped me in all the best ways. I began working full-time right out of high school, driven by a deep sense of responsibility and a desire to make something of myself. Though I couldn’t afford college at the time, I committed to lifelong learning–earning respected HR certifications and proving my value through hard work and heart. Years later, while raising three children and working full-time, I completed both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees, fueled by grit, purpose, and an unwavering belief in what’s possible.

I’m also shaped by my life outside of work. I was born into a military family and later married my husband, who proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years and now works in cyber forensics. We’ve raised three incredible sons–two of whom followed in the family’s military footsteps, while the third carves his own path in the music industry. I know what it means to juggle priorities, to lead with love, and to show up for others even when life feels like a moving target. That’s why I have a deep empathy for anyone trying to "figure it out"–especially working parents, emerging leaders, and change-makers navigating transition.

I’ve learned as much from my missteps as I have from my successes. I don’t let fear drive my decisions–and I encourage my clients to do the same. The most meaningful growth often begins when we step outside of our comfort zones and allow ourselves to learn, adjust, and try again.

In every role, whether I’m coaching a leader, facilitating a team session, or guiding a company through HR transformation, I lead with integrity, authenticity, and a belief that success starts from the inside out.
